1. Oil-gas separator elements are mainly used in air compressors.
2. They are categorized by installation location: external rotating and internal.
3. As precision filter elements, they are key components determining compressed air quality. High-quality oil-gas separation elements ensure compressor efficiency and can last thousands of hours. Compressed air from the compressor head carries oil droplets of varying sizes. Large droplets are separated in the oil-gas separation tank, while suspended oil droplets below 1 μm are filtered by the micron-level glass fiber layer. Oil droplets are captured via diffusion, controlled by the filter material, and coalesce into larger droplets, which gather at the bottom and return to the lubrication system via the oil return pipe, ensuring oil-free compressed air output. Solid particles in the air accumulate in the filter layer, increasing pressure difference over time.
