The OAU6 7 is a stainless steel directional valve manufactured by Antincendi Unidet Srl. This valve is designed for high pressure applications in domestic industrial and marine environments. It features a stainless steel AISI 304 valve body with all internal components made of stainless steel AISI 303. The valve supports both manual and pneumatic operation modes making it versatile for various fluid control systems. It is suitable for water HFC and CO2 N2 Ar fluid systems with an operating pressure up to 366 bar. The valve consists of twenty individual parts including upper plug small pawl piston large pawl two stainless steel springs and GACO P5 O ring seals. It is CE certified and meets EN 12094 5 2006 standards for fire safety systems. The design temperature range is minus 20 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. The OAU6 model weighs 25.45 kg with one inch NPT inlet and outlet ports while the OAU7 model weighs 34.35 kg with one and half inch NPT ports.

Working Principle 

The OAU6 7 directional valve uses a pawl type mechanism to control fluid direction. When the valve is actuated either manually or pneumatically the stainless steel piston rod moves and engages the large pawl and small pawl system. This pawl mechanism switches the flow path between different ports allowing precise directional control under high pressure conditions. The large pawl ring nut and large pawl rod work together with two stainless steel springs to provide reliable return force and stable switching operation. GACO P5 O ring seals at multiple positions ensure leak free performance even at pressures up to 366 bar. The stainless steel AISI 304 body provides excellent corrosion resistance while the AISI 303 internal components offer smooth operation and long service life. This combination of high grade stainless steel materials and robust pawl mechanism design makes the valve suitable for demanding environments including marine applications and fire fighting systems.
